Mr. Howard Bevan has had an illustrious career in oil and gas, holding positions in some of the Middle East’s most important organisations. Mr. Bevan is a specialised polymath and holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in polymer chemistry, finance, and econometrics.

After working as a Senior Planner for the Kuwait Oil Company from 1997 to 2001, Mr. Bevan moved to Doha to take the position of Performance Manager at QatarEnergy. After holding the role for a decade, he became an independent consultant with a specialisation in the economics of LNG fueled power stations in South Asia.

Mr. Bevan returned to QatarEnergy in 2012 as Specialist Advisor for a period of two years. Since leaving QatarEnergy, he has worked as an independent consultant with a focus on energy economics and risk management in the Middle East and Director of Energy for the Al-Attiyah Foundation. Mr. Bevan holds a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry from Aston University, a Master of Science in Econometrics from the University of London and a Master Business of Administration (MBA) from the University of Nottingham.
