Former Economic Advisor at Emiri Diwan

H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim is the Former Economic Advisor at Emiri Diwan and appointed as the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for Development Planning.

Dr. Ibrahim sits on a number of Boards; Vice Chairman at RasGas and Qatar Gas Companies Limited, Qatar Development Bank; and as a member of Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Foundation Advisory Board, QatarEnergy (Formerly known as Qatar Petroleum) and Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment. He served as Associate Professor Business, Economics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Hawaii. Director of OPEC and Senior Economist at Oxford Institute for Energy Studies.

Dr. Ibrahim holds a Ph.D. from New York University and is the recipient of awards from Abdulla Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, MEED, Oil & Gas Magazine, CWC World Energy Summit, Qatar International Business Women Forum and National Human Rights Committee (UN).
