2017 Energy Transition Conference at HBKU

Overview
The First Energy Transformation Conference considered as first-of-its-kind event which was hosted by the College of Law and Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and organized in conjunction with Qatar University, College of North Atlantic, Qatar and Qatar Energy and Environment Research Institute (QEERI). The Conference took place at HBKU between 26-27 September, 2017.
The main topic of the conference was under the title of "Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus and a Low Carbon Future for Qatar: Enhancing Integrated Decision Making for QNV 2030 and Beyond".
The conference, which ran four interdisciplinary panels: technology, law, management and education. The event aimed to lead the advancement of applied research addressing the interlinks of water, energy, and food resources use in Qatar, and to create tangible positive impact.
