Mr. Marwan Masri

President & CEO Canadian Energy Research Institute

Mr. Marwan Masri, a King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) visiting fellow since March 2013 and a Member of KAPSARC's International Advisory Council (IAC), is President Emeritus of the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI). Before his appointment, he was Vice President, Research. Mr. Masri's experience includes a distinguished career with the California Energy Commission (CEC). His last position at the CEC was Deputy Director for R&D and Renewables. Mr. Masri is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Asia Pacific Economic Research Centre (APERC) in Tokyo, Japan and an Advisory Board member of the Center for Legislative Energy and Environmental Research (CLEER).
