The Al-Attiyah Foundation and GORD Celebrate Partnership Agreement
The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development (Al-Attiyah Foundation) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) on 12 September 2019, at the St Regis Hotel, Doha.
His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Chairman, Al-Attiyah Foundation said “I am pleased to sign a partnership agreement with GORD to produce research and joint publications on themes of mutual interest in relation to energy and sustainable development. I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of our collaboration as we work towards improving awareness and understanding of the actions required to create a sustainable future.”
Dr. Yousef Mohamed Alhorr, Founding Chairman, GORD, added, “It is a pleasure and honour for GORD to join hands with the Al-Attiyah Foundation to develop capacity, conduct studies and develop projects on sustainability and climate mitigation in the region. This partnership will combine the rich mix of implementation experience and thought leadership for a sustainable and low-carbon economy of the region.”
